Pushed into being social.

I’m rewriting this from a paper journal.

There are questions which shouldn’t bother anyone.

How are you?  How is your family?  What are you doing this weekend? How is your love life?  What do you do for a living?  What are your dreams?

These are questions that are fine for 20 or 30 somethings but if you want to hear a positive answer or something that is upbeat and will make your day and that’s the only choice you are giving to the person who is answering those questions otherwise your answer would be something along the lines of stop feeling sorry for yourself or some other remark based on your lack of experience then there are better questions you can ask that won’t invade someone’s space unnecessarily or cause them to tell you a lie because you know and they know that you can’t fix it.  or, they feel too distant from you, for whatever reason, to believe you have enough in common with them to fix the problem.

What was the last book you read?  If you were an animal what would you be? How’s the weather? What’s for Dinner? What’s the last movie you saw?  What book would you like to read?  What movie would you like to see?

I believe you can always tell someone you like their outfit, makeup, hair.

Right now, I’m actually fairly good, because I’ve come to the conclusion to spend time on myself reading, ideally to write reviews, more time with friends & family, and walking, and writing.
